What a busy and meaningful weekend for Neighborhood Medical! 💙 From having important conversations with city commissioner Idelma Quintana, for what can truly drive meaningful impact in our community, to connecting with the neighbors of Hollywood at the health and wellness Expo hosted with our partner, Broward County Public Library. 📚🤝 We were grateful for the opportunity to provide resources, raise awareness, connect people to support, and share the mission of Neighborhood Medical. And we couldn’t end the weekend without showing appreciation for the amazing volunteers who help make our work possible! ❤️ We gathered at a local coffee shop @thecoffeeculture.fll —to celebrate our team, support a local business, and enjoy some well-deserved fellowship. ☕️ Every conversation, connection, and collaboration brings us one step closer to a healthier, more connected community. This is why we serve. This is Neighborhood Medical. 🩺💙 #NeighborhoodMedical #CommunityHealth #CommunityImpact #HollywoodFL BrowardCounty HealthEquity CommunityOutreach Volunteers TogetherWeServe

WHY WE SERVE — TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. 💙 Aging out of foster care can make the transition into adulthood feel overwhelming and scary. In partnership with Saints House, a transitional housing and mentoring program for youth aging out of foster care, NBHDMed led a “Surviving Adulting” workshop designed to ease anxiety and stress by helping youth create a personal action plan for navigating adulthood. Because making a difference means giving people not only encouragement—but the tools and confidence to take their next step. This is why we serve. 💙 #miamidadecounty #CommunityImpact #YouthEmpowerment #AgingOutOfFosterCare #corporatesocialresponsibility

Why What We Do Matters 💙 Health education shouldn’t only happen in a doctor’s office—it should happen where people already gather. That’s why we hosted a free Diabetes Education Workshop at the Hollywood Public Library, bringing trusted health information directly into the community. Through one-on-one conversations, we answered questions, shared practical resources, and empowered individuals to take the next step in their health journey. Because of donors, we’re able to: meet people where they are, make health education accessible to all, and have some refreshments. if this caught your attention and your business wants to make an impact in your local community, learn more about becoming a donor or sponsor. ✨💙 #CommunityHealth #DiabetesEducation #PreventionMatters #CommunityImpact

Neighborhood medical did a thing! We recieved a grant! Thank you @spotlightmia for the support and belief in our mission and vision. Was great to network and see other familiar faces as community leaders making a difference in the nonprofit sector. Building a nonprofit is hard work because in the beginning we have to trust in volunteers( and my goodness did we have the best volunteers!), work 15-20 hrs on top of other full time commitments, and we learn as we grow. We do this for our heart for our community. ❤️
